I went home for Thanksgiving and there waiting for me was a Christy Robinson necklace (thanks Mom!)…the one I’ve had my eye over a year: the mini chick necklace that says “Not a Nugget.” Soo cute.

Christy’s designs are “Earth & Animal Friendly” and have sayings
on them like “Stop Shark Finning” and “Veal is Not a Meal.” She makes all her
jewelry from recycled metals like aluminum and sterling silver.
She also does custom work, so if you have an idea, let her
know. You can see here some of the custom orders she has fulfilled in the past.
Of course, now that I have one necklace, I’m looking at her
other jewelry trying to decide what my next purchase will be. I really like the
simple silver band that has “Vegan” stamped on it.
No matter what you choose, I don’t think you can go wrong.
Also, with the purchase, my mom received two recipe cards.
One was the green bean recipe we had at Thanksgiving and the other is a squash soup
(which I have not tried yet).
